So after almost TWO MONTHS of being completely MIA, here I am…..
Tired and a bit confused…
What the hell? This is the longest I’ve gone without posting, without a word or an update, since I started laurenonlocation over a year ago. That’s how I know these past months have been particularly crazy.
I guess I can only hope that all of you in the blogosphere haven’t forgotten all about me. You know the expression. Out of sight. Out of mind…..
Well, don’t worry, because, I’mmmmmmmm backkkkkkkkkkk!!

For those (very few) of you who have been wondering where I’ve been, I’ve pretty much been all over the place.
From Portugal to Spain to New York back to Spain to Turkey, Greece and Italy back to Spain then Long Island to the Jersey Shore, a weekend in Manhattan and finallllllllllllllly HOME.
Lots and lots of jetlag, limited access to Wifi, and a few overweight suitcases later, and here I am. Where is here? Comfortably resting in my tiny little hamlet way out on isolated Long Island.
If I’m being completely honest with you… I’m pretty sick of this question. Quite frankly, it’s all anyone’s been asking me lately and it’s getting really annoying.
If I’m being completely honest with myself…. the reason I’m so fed up with this question is, quite frankly, because I have no clue. It’s the first time in my life that I’m moving forward with no set plan for my future. Weirdly, I’m pretty ok with it.
After two years living abroad and almost two months of constant travel, I’m ready to stay put for a while. (but hopefully ‘a while‘ won’t be too long …. )
I’m in the middle of outlining some really exciting upcoming travels plans, but as they’re tentative and still in the works, I’m not fully ready to share them yet. So for now, I hope you’ll bear with me as I catch up on the past few months while planning the following few months!
Good ol’ Long Island will just have to act as my home-base while I craft my next adventures.
Eh, home ain’t so bad!
